This page sets out, in plain English, what the free football predictions published on this site are, what they are not, and where responsibility sits if you choose to bet. Read it alongside our terms and privacy policy.
Everything published at zort-app.com/betslips and across the pages under /predictions/ is statistical output, put up for interest. It is not advice of any kind — not financial advice, not investment advice, not tipping advice, and not a recommendation to place any bet, on any match, with any bookmaker. Nothing here is written for your individual circumstances, and nothing here should be treated as if it were.
Betting is not an investment product, and GIS Analytics Limited is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Nothing on this site — including any prediction, percentage, scoreline or note about a match — is a "personal recommendation" in the sense that phrase is used in UK financial services regulation, and none of it should be read as one. If you want regulated financial advice, this is not where to get it.
The model behind these predictions starts from live bookmaker odds across a wide panel of UK and EU books, strips out each book's built-in margin (de-vigging, using Shin's method), and feeds the resulting true probabilities into a Poisson/Dixon-Coles model to derive a match result, a correct score and, where the market supports it, a both-teams-to-score read. That produces a probability, not a forecast of what will happen. A prediction published as a 74% chance is, by construction, expected to be wrong roughly one time in four — that is what a probability means, not a flaw in a particular pick. This page makes no claim, and implies none, that the predictions win. You will not find a win rate, a return-on-investment figure, a profit total or a strike rate anywhere on this site, because publishing one would suggest a level of confidence the underlying uncertainty does not support.
This information is published for people who have already decided, on their own, that they choose to bet on football, and it exists to give that decision more context, not to create it. We do not encourage betting and we do not facilitate it: GIS Analytics Limited places no bets of its own, holds no customer money, takes no commission on anything wagered, and has no commercial relationship with any bookmaker. The predictions carry no bookmaker odds and no bookmaker names — you will not find a "bet now" link on this site pointing at a sportsbook. Zort, the app this site promotes, is a bet tracker: it logs stakes, odds and settled results from bets you have already placed elsewhere, so you can see what your own betting has actually returned. It does not place bets and it is not a bookmaker.
Any bet you place, whether or not you read anything on this site first, is your own decision, made with your own money, at your own risk. You choose the stake, you choose the bookmaker, and you choose whether to act on a prediction at all. If a bet loses, that loss is yours — it is not a loss GIS Analytics Limited shares in, and nothing on this site changes that.
GIS Analytics Limited excludes liability for losses connected with your use of this site and the predictions on it, to the extent the law allows. That qualification is there deliberately: a blanket exclusion of liability is not enforceable against consumers under UK consumer protection law, so this paragraph states our position rather than promising it can never be challenged. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
The odds, scores and fixture data behind these predictions come from third-party providers. That data can be delayed, incomplete or simply wrong, and we do not independently verify every figure before it is published. The site itself, including the daily board and this page, may be unavailable or interrupted from time to time, and a day's predictions may not publish at all if the underlying data isn't there. Use everything here with that in mind.
This disclaimer, and your use of this site, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
