Welcome to Zort ("we," "us," or "our"), an AI-powered sports bet tracking application. By downloading, accessing, or using Zort (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Zort, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App. By using Zort, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

You may register using Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or Email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Use of the App

4.1 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

4.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Transfer your account to another person
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
• Upload viruses or malicious code

5. Bet Tracking Service

5.1 Purpose

Zort is a tracking and analytical tool designed to help users monitor their sports betting activities. We do not facilitate, process, or place bets.

5.2 No Gambling Services

Zort does not provide gambling services, accept wagers, or facilitate betting transactions. Users are solely responsible for their betting activities conducted through third-party platforms.

5.3 Responsible Use

You acknowledge that gambling can be addictive and agree to use our App responsibly. We encourage users to set limits and seek help if gambling becomes problematic.

6. User Content

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the App, including bet slips, comments, and profile information ("User Content").

6.2 License to Use

By uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the sole purpose of operating the App and providing the features you have asked for. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not sell your User Content, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models. Bet slip images are sent to third-party AI providers to be read, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6.3 Content Standards

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Subscription and Payments

8.1 Subscription Plans

Zort Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the App before you purchase, and are charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account on confirmation.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before a trial ends to avoid being charged.

8.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device settings.

8.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to Apple's App Store policies. We do not directly process refunds.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. AI Features, Scanning and Tips

Zort uses automated and AI systems to read bet slips, answer questions and generate insights. These systems make mistakes.

• Scanning: stakes, odds, selections and outcomes read from a photograph may be wrong or incomplete. Check every scanned bet before relying on it. Your records are your responsibility.
• AskZort and AI insights: generated text may be inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. It is information only and is not betting, financial or professional advice.
• Tips and predictions: any tips, predictions or statistics shown in the App are for information only, carry no guarantee of accuracy or timeliness, and may relate to events that have already started or finished. They are not a recommendation to place any bet.
• Odds and results data: supplied by third parties and may be delayed or incorrect. Always check with your bookmaker.

Every bet you place is your own decision and your own risk. Past performance does not predict future results. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your reliance on scanned data, AI output, tips or third-party data.

11. Disclaimers

10.1 No Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

10.2 No Betting Advice

Information provided through the App is for tracking purposes only and should not be considered as betting advice or recommendations.

10.3 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for any third-party betting platforms or services you may use in conjunction with our App.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account where you have breached these Terms, where we are required to by law, or where continuing would expose us or other users to harm. Except where the breach is serious or we are legally prevented from doing so, we will give you notice and an opportunity to put things right first.

If we terminate a paid subscription other than for your serious breach, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or in the EEA, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence, and nothing here removes them.

17. Dispute Resolution

Please contact us first at support@zort-app.com — most issues are resolved that way.

If we cannot resolve it, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms requires you to arbitrate or waives your right to bring a claim in court.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App.
